Our world-class libraries offer a host of different services. See below for details of our opening hours, locations and access arrangements

The Wisley Library at RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science, is open daily from 10am to 4pm. The Harlow Carr Library is open Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm and the RHS Lindley Library is open Tuesday – Friday 10am-4pm and is offering researcher appointments on a pre-booked basis.

Research appointments are available on weekdays at the Lindley library, Wisley Library and the Harlow Carr Library. We provide an electronic books collection and postal loan service for members who are not able to visit one of our libraries in person.

The London library is based in our headquarters at Vincent Square, where we have a world-class collection of horticultural books, journals and botanical art.

Our Library services are not confined to London, we have ebooks and audiobooks available to all RHS members and postal loans for UK based members. Wisley and Harlow Carr have libraries with essential reading for all gardening enthusiasts.
